 CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Our client, an integrated marketing communications firm headquartered off US 95  and north of the US 495, seeks an experienced Creative Director to lead all aspects of their creative effort.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

This Creative Director leads the creative process and directs the activities of a diverse group of talented professionals in executing standards of creative excellence, timeliness and profitability while achieving their clients’ marketing objectives.

What we seek is the person at the next stage of his/her career, the person who wants to achieve excellent work by building, leading and managing the team which does the execution.

Responsibilities include:

Recruit, train and supervise onsite and freelance staff of writers, designers, art directors, and digital programmers and to oversee their execution of all creative efforts – from brand development to print to online marketing campaigns – to ensure they are on strategy, on budget and on schedule

Lead creative consultations with account teams to ensure appropriate creative strategies, adequacy/accuracy of input, schedules, budgets, production support, necessary reviews, and client presentations

Institute systems and procedures to ensure an efficient workflow for all projects

Exercise a quality control function with regard to all creative work

REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE:

Prior creative/ management experience in an advertising/marketing agency is essential.

SPECIFIC SKILLS:

Must be able to juggle multiple projects and responsibilities constantly.  Must serve as effective liaison between creative and all other departments.  Must be highly effective communicating in writing and verbally.  Position reports directly to Partners and is an important member of the leadership team.
